Each of our radiologists is certified by the American Board of Radiology.  Individually, we have completed additional fellowship training in various subspecialty areas such as angiography, ultrasound, neuroradiology and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Our technologists work directly under our supervision.  Each has received a diploma from an accredited Radiologic Technology (RT) program and are registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.  Our mammography and ultrasound technologists have earned advanced qualifications from the American Registery of Radiologic Technologists.  All of our staff participate in regular continuing education.

We pride ourselves on both the quality and the promptness of our reports to your referring physician.  Your previous x-rays taken by us are stored on-site and always compared to your present study immediately.

If your study detects an abnormality, the results can be telephoned or faxed to your referring physician immediately.  In all cases where a biopsy is recommended, the results are discussed personally with your physician.  A complete written report of any study is usually on its way to your physician within 24 hours.

Peninsula Radiology Associates will file all insurance claims on your behalf, providing you have supplied us with current information.  You are responsible for any remaining balance, deductibles or co-paymets.

We are participating physicians with Medicare, Maryland Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Aetna and MDIPA and other providers.

Walk-in patients can normally be accommodated, but should you wish to discuss your study with the radiologist, we ask that you schedule your appointment in advance.

Please note that we do require a written requisition from your referring physician in order to perform the proper radiology study.
